Hello!

About Me

Hi, I’m Adjin, an Instructional Designer based in Chicago.

I’ve worked in learning and development since 2014, when I began designing training programs for bilingual schools in Spain transitioning from traditional classrooms to blended and digital learning. That experience sparked my interest in creating learning that is not only informative, but practical and engaging.

Today, I design training for healthcare and human services organizations operating in complex, state-regulated environments. My work focuses on building scalable learning systems that help organizations train large teams consistently while meeting compliance requirements across multiple states.

Most recently, I’ve designed onboarding programs, compliance training, systems training, and customer service simulations used by thousands of employees across the U.S. My approach blends eLearning, scenario-based practice, and instructor-led learning to help employees apply new skills quickly and confidently in their roles.

I hold a Master’s degree in Bilingual and Multicultural Education from the University of Alcalá de Henares and completed additional training in Instructional Design and Learning Technology to deepen my expertise in adult learning and digital learning design.

My Approach to Training

Most employees don’t start a training course excited to take it. Because of that, I focus on designing learning that respects people’s time and helps them get to what matters quickly.

My goal is to make training:

Clear – structured content that gets to the point quickly
Practical – opportunities to practice real tasks and decisions
Accessible – materials that are easy to navigate and understand

I also design with trainers in mind. Training materials should support facilitators, not make their job harder. I create facilitator guides, practice activities, and backup options so sessions run smoothly—even when real-world challenges come up.

Outside of Work

Outside of learning design, I enjoy traveling (30 countries and counting), exploring antique shops, designing and sewing clothes and quilts, embroidery, and rescuing discarded houseplants.
